Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care position in Illinois, requiring a current IL RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Work in a skilled nursing and long term care setting
Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Weekend and holiday rotation is required
Opportunities to pick up additional hours are available
Provide patient care by performing treatments and administering medications according to established protocols
Monitor and report adverse reactions to medications or treatments
Assist in implementing and documenting patient care plans
Identify and appropriately respond to emergency situations within scope of practice
Instruct patients in self-care as directed by care plans
Adhere to established nursing and hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

Active IL RN license required
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a similar setting required
Current BLS certification required
