Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a float pool role in a busy Level 1 trauma setting with day shifts and specific certification requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work in the float pool primarily staffing the Emergency Department at a large hospital
- May be required to float to an acute care unit if necessary
- Level 1 trauma facility with a high volume of patients
- Day shift position with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
- No on-call responsibilities
- Responsible for providing emergency nursing care and responding to trauma cases in a busy ED environment
- May occasionally float to an acute care unit within the facility
- Day shift schedule will be followed
- Professional dress code must be maintained
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a similar sized Level 1 trauma facility Emergency Department
- Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Demonstrated Emergency Department skills and recent experience verified by references from supervisors or managers
