Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for night shifts, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT(R) certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care setting in CT imaging
• Serve inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients including ER with 38 beds
• Night shifts: Saturday and Sunday 6:00 PM–6:30 AM, Monday 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
• Potential to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed
• Department includes over 85 employees
• Uses Cerner EMR and Synapse PACS
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Candidates must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays
• Auto-approval for 5 or fewer days of requested time off
• All travelers must be prepared to float to other units or facilities if needed
• Opportunities to work with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients are preferred
• Free parking is provided
• Returning employees or PRNs must have a minimum 12-month break before reapplying as a traveler
• Scrub color not specified

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist, with 18 months–2 years preferred
• Current ARRT(R) certification required; ARRT(CT) preferred
• Indiana radiology license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI accepted)
• Cerner experience required
• Degree from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited university required at time of graduation
• Pending state license accepted for consideration
