Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of recent experience for a travel position in an interventional radiology unit.
Responsibilities
- Work in an interventional radiology department
- Day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- 13-week travel contract
- Hands-on role performing a variety of interventional radiologic procedures
- Working as part of a collaborative radiology team
- First-time travelers may be considered
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Must have at least 6 months of experience in this role within the last 6 months
- Active license required if applicable
- Relevant national certification required
- AHA or ARC certifications accepted; certifications must be valid for the duration of the contract
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past year
- US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration

Lots of other travelers, nice approachable management that are on the floor in scrubs to help not criticize, updated cerner launch point, staff helps other staff, security is able to protect staff, PD is at hospital
Cons
Charge is only available to help with traumas otherwise they sit at their desk, techs assign pts to ER rooms making very heavy patient loads with multiple traumas with other nurse assignments being very light, not enough policies to protect nurses from verbal and physical violence from patients
