Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 18 months of experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit
12-hour AM shifts are required
Assignment is for a 7-week contract
No on-call responsibilities
Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
Holiday time off requests are restricted and only one holiday request is permitted
Time off requests are limited to 5 days maximum unless they fall on or near a holiday, in which case the limit is 3 days
Returning travelers or perm staff must meet specific separation time requirements to be eligible
Candidates may only submit to one position at a time
Locals within a 50-mile radius are not eligible for this position

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license in hand
Minimum of 18 months of Med/Surg RN experience
Must not have been a permanent staff member at the facility or associated health system within the past 18 months
