Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring an active MA RN license and Cath/EP Lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a hospital setting
• Handles adult patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures including PCI, impella, balloon pump, device implant, and ablations
• Two procedure rooms in the Cath/EP Lab
• Scheduled for four 10-hour day shifts each week, 7:00am – 5:30pm
• Includes seven on-call nights per month, with one full weekend on-call (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and four additional weeknights
• EMR system used is Epic Cupid
• No floating required
• Support a team performing advanced cardiac and electrophysiology procedures
• Orientation and training provided by unit staff
• Flu vaccine is mandatory during flu season
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for full travel rate eligibility
• Parking may not be validated and could require use of public transportation or paid public lots

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license is required; MA conditional licenses are not accepted
• Minimum of 4 years of Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Lab experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA are required
• Scrub experience in interventional cardiac procedures is required
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Flu vaccine is required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
