Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with craniotomy and burr hole experience for a day shift position in Texas.

Responsibilities

Work in the Main Operating Room of an acute care hospital
Cases include neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, and general/robotics/trauma surgeries
Craniotomy and burr hole procedures are regularly performed
Day shifts, Monday to Wednesday, 6:30 am to 7:00 pm (3x12 hours)
Late days and call coverage required as needed
Bi-weekly orientation schedule
Provide perioperative care for neuro, spine, ortho/trauma, and robotic surgery cases
Documentation of all required certifications must be available for consideration

Requirements

Active TX or Compact RN license required
Current BLS certification required
Experience with craniotomy and burr hole procedures required
Operating Room nursing experience required
Two supervisory references from the last three years
