Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Night Shift Technologist with active skills in diagnostic imaging and national certification in two modalities.

Responsibilities

• Work in a diagnostic radiology unit providing a range of imaging services including radiography, CT, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, and special procedures
• Night shift schedule from 18:00-06:00 with 4- and 2-day scheduling blocks, including weekend coverage
• Participate in performance improvement and quality control activities in an acute care setting
• Responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS
• Duties include imaging procedures, department supply management, and area oversight in the absence of the manager or director
• Responsible for scheduling and maintaining supplies and equipment for assigned sub-departments
• Flu, COVID vaccination, and other health documentation may be required
• Night shift role with significant autonomy and responsibility for customer service and teamwork
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Requirements

• Active licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by state (license required if applicable)
• National certifications in two imaging modalities required
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations
• Proficient computer skills
• One year of acute clinical radiography experience preferred
