Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend day shift position at a Level III Trauma Center, requiring Epic experience and the ability to float to nearby facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a critical access hospital with a 25-bed capacity and teaching environment
  • CT/X-ray department serving adult and pediatric populations
  • Weekend day shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 12-hour shifts from 8:00 to 20:30
  • No on-call requirement and no floating between hospital units, but floating to nearby sister facilities is required
  • Patient ratio is approximately 2:1
  • Epic EMR system is used and prior experience is required
  • Scrubs in any color allowed; specialty areas provided with scrubs
  • Must commit to working three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • A maximum of 6 days of RTO or 3 consecutive days of RTO can be auto-approved; additional RTO may require special approval
  • Completion of required modules prior to start and annually, with average module time around 16 hours
  • Free parking is available on site
  • Travelers expected to float to affiliate facilities as needed; refusal may result in contract termination
  • Must request all RTO and specific scheduling needs prior to consideration

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year CT technologist experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Current applicable ARRT registration and BLS certification required
  • Must possess or obtain Oregon state license if applicable
  • References from 2 supervisors covering at least 1 year within the past 3 years are required
  • Must have reliable personal transportation
  • Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from facility
  • Former permanent staff must have a 3-month gap before returning as travelers
