Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT (CT), BLS, and at least 2 years of CT experience for a busy hospital setting on night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based CT department with inpatient, ED, observation, and outpatient populations
• Average of 130 studies performed daily, higher during weekdays
• Inpatient census averages around 400
• 10-hour night shifts: Thursday 5:00 PM–5:30 AM, Friday-Sunday 9:00 PM–6:30 AM
• On-call required 2-3 shifts per month
• No floating requirements
• No trauma designation
• Equipment includes 3 Siemens Definition CT scanners (AS 40, Force, Edge +) and Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors
• EMR: Epic; RIS: Epic Radiant; PACS: Philips iSite
• Department performs CT-guided invasive procedures and cases with anesthesia as needed
• Cardiac CT imaging conducted on the day shift
• Support staff includes Guest Services and Transport for inpatients and observation patients
• First-time travelers will be considered
• 75% holiday coverage required
• Black scrubs required
• Parking provided at no cost in surface lots and decks
• Administrative and departmental orientation provided
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the unit

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT
• BLS required
• Ability to start peripheral IVs and perform venous, arterial, and multi-phase scanning
• Proficient with stroke imaging, including perfusion, and colorectal studies
• Knowledge of TeraRecon preferred, not required
• License required if applicable
