Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a NICU RN with a CA license, BLS, and NRP certifications plus at least 2 years of NICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of a hospital
- Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
- Works closely with Pediatricians, Neonatologists, and Registered Nurses in the NICU/LDRP setting
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Supports care and procedures in the NICU under direction of the Charge Nurse
- Integrates education, technical skills, and patient interaction for safe, precise treatment
- Only 1 holiday off will be approved during the assignment
- Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing contract
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required
- Must meet 50-mile radius rule
- Must have 1 year gap away from facility to return as a traveler
