Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a NICU RN with a CA license, BLS, and NRP certifications plus at least 2 years of NICU experience.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of a hospital
Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
Works closely with Pediatricians, Neonatologists, and Registered Nurses in the NICU/LDRP setting
Assignment length is 13 weeks
Supports care and procedures in the NICU under direction of the Charge Nurse
Integrates education, technical skills, and patient interaction for safe, precise treatment
Only 1 holiday off will be approved during the assignment
Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing contract

Requirements

Active CA RN license required
Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications required
Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required
Must meet 50-mile radius rule
Must have 1 year gap away from facility to return as a traveler
