Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of recent MRI experience and BLS, ARRT or ARMIT certification for a 13-week day shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Hospital-based position in a Level 1 Trauma setting
- 36 hours per week, working 12-hour day shifts from Sunday to Tuesday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Primary duties involve operating Phillips MRI, with GE 3T experience preferred
- Adult patient population typically seen in a large urban medical center
- Duties include operating advanced MRI equipment, performing patient screening, and quality control checks
- Preference given to candidates with experience on GE 3T MRI systems
- Must be able to provide strong, recent manager-level references with documented performance evaluations
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
- Parking may have associated fees
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an MRI Technologist
- Current BLS and ARRT or ARMIT certification required
- Level 1 Trauma hospital experience required
- Active MA State license required if applicable
- At least 18 months of specialty experience required for consideration
- References must include 2 professional evaluations, one at manager level, with at least one within the last 12 months and another within the last 3 years
