Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of recent MRI experience, including proficiency with Philips equipment, for a 13-week assignment.
Responsibilities
- Position is in an acute care hospital setting with a Level 1 Trauma designation
- 36-hour work week with 12-hour day shifts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Role primarily involves MRI imaging; Philips MRI experience required and GE 3T experience preferred
- Duties involve performing MRI procedures according to established protocols and ensuring patient safety
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel
- Monthly parking fees apply for staff parking
- Scrub attire details and department-specific requirements will be provided at onboarding
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience
- Experience working with Philips MRI equipment is required
- BLS and ARRT or ARMIT certification are required and must be active at time of consideration
- Level 1 Trauma hospital experience is required
- A minimum of 18 months experience in this specialty is needed
- Two professional references required, with at least one recent manager-level reference that includes a performance evaluation
- One evaluation must be from within the past 12 months, the other within the past 3 years
- License required if applicable
