Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a California license and BSN for night shifts and every other weekend work.
Responsibilities
- Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
- Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 19:15 to 07:15
- Every other weekend required
- On-call or call-off may occur based on census
- Patients are critically ill adults within an intensive care environment
- Epic charting experience is preferred
- Hospital orientation includes 1-5 hours of e-learning modules
- Required to be available for lab work within 3-5 days of offer acceptance
- Only one holiday request for time off (RTO) will be approved during the contract
- Return staff must have been absent for at least one year to qualify as a traveler
- Position subject to a 50-mile radius rule
- Local candidates are accepted
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU RN experience required
- Current AHA certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Must provide copies of certifications at time of consideration
