Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a California license and BSN for night shifts and every other weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 19:15 to 07:15
• Every other weekend required
• On-call or call-off may occur based on census
• Patients are critically ill adults within an intensive care environment
• Epic charting experience is preferred
• Hospital orientation includes 1-5 hours of e-learning modules
• Required to be available for lab work within 3-5 days of offer acceptance
• Only one holiday request for time off (RTO) will be approved during the contract
• Return staff must have been absent for at least one year to qualify as a traveler
• Position subject to a 50-mile radius rule
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU RN experience required
• Current AHA certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Must provide copies of certifications at time of consideration
