Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification for an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

Work in an acute care radiology department serving both adult and pediatric patients, with interventional radiology limited to adults
Shifts are every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:30am to 9:00pm (12-hour shifts)
Two CT technologists staff inpatient services and one covers outpatient
Use of Canon/Toshiba and Fuji Synaps equipment with EPIC EMR
Must be able to start IVs as part of CT procedures
Perform all standard CT imaging examinations on both adult and pediatric patients
Black scrubs are required
Radiation badge must be provided by the traveler’s agency
No weekend, holiday, or call coverage required
Must not have worked at any WVU Medicine location within the past 2 years as a permanent or travel employee
Return to work eligibility requires a 2-year break after cumulative 1 year of service with WVU Medicine

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
Current ARRT (CT) certification required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Valid state license required if applicable
Experience with EPIC EMR and specified imaging equipment preferred
Cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility
