Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with adult echo registry and vascular experience for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital setting focused on cardiac and vascular ultrasound
• Work schedule is 4x10 or 5x8 day shifts with rotating weekends and on-call duties
• Cares for adult patient population; pediatric experience is a bonus but not required
• Uses Altera EMR; prior experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Candidates must pass a facility drug screen upon arrival, including screening for Marijuana and CBD
• Orientation modules, averaging 6-8 hours, are completed during onboarding
• Return travelers are eligible if separated from prior staff employment for at least one year
• Local allied candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and local candidates are not accepted
• Candidates must complete required lab work within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a plan in place
• Travel experience is preferred
• Scrub dress code details will be provided by the facility

Requirements

• Active registration in echo (ARDMS with RDCS or RCS) and vascular (RVT or RCS) is required for adults
• CCI/vascular registry alone will be considered if able to perform echo studies
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the service line required
• License required if applicable
• Certification verification required for consideration
• Must submit 2 supervisor references from the past 3 years
