Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT and BLS certification, and active IL license for a night shift assignment in an acute care radiology setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care radiology department performing computed tomography exams
• Night shifts from 9:00pm to 7:30am, alternating weekly schedules: Week 1 includes Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday; Week 2 includes Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday
• Shift schedule alternates between 30 hours one week and 40 hours the next
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Role requires ongoing clinical competence in fluoroscopy, pediatric, trauma, general, portable, surgical, and CT exams
• Must be able to administer contrast media orally, rectally, or intravenously following policy
• Expected to demonstrate professional interactions using AIDET
• Position requires adherence to a drug-free workplace policy and a negative drug screen for all panels
• Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible for a local rate
• Twelve hours of orientation provided; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year recent CT Technologist experience
• Active ARRT and BLS certifications required
• Active IL license or proof that the application process has been initiated (license required if applicable)
• IEMA license required
• Experience performing CT exams, contrast administration, and required QA/QC per regulations
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
