Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position in California with prior Cath Lab experience and CA RN licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Cath Lab within an acute care, Magnet facility
• Day shift with four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call required for 5-6 shifts every two weeks, including every other weekend from Friday evening to Monday morning and one weekday call shift
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes when on call
• No floating required between units for this position
• Utilizes Epic EMR system
• Perform nursing responsibilities within a Cath Lab setting, assisting with cardiac catheterizations and related procedures
• Scrubs of any color may be worn; L&D and OR provided
• All travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state, per assignment needs
• Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
• References from at least 2 supervisory sources covering 1 year of employment are required for consideration

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of previous Cath Lab RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not live within 50 miles of the facility
