Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric RN with at least one year of recent pediatric experience and BLS/PALS certification for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Pediatric unit of a hospital
• Patient population includes pediatric patients, with NICU experience preferred but not required
• Night shift position, 3x12 hour shifts (19:00-07:30)
• Floating to other qualified Prisma Health units and campuses may be required per census needs
• Free parking is provided
• Uses Epic EMR; one year of Epic experience required
• All time off requests must be declared at the time of application and are subject to approval based on facility needs
• Travelers must live more than 100 miles from all Prisma Health locations to qualify for travel positions; those living 50 to 99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate, while locals under 50 miles are ineligible
• Staff will only float to units for which they are qualified and have verified competencies
• First time travelers are accepted
• Candidates are expected to comply with holiday coverage as assigned
• Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided at assignment start

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• At least one year of recent pediatric RN experience required
• One year of experience with Epic EMR required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• NICU experience is preferred but not mandatory
