Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with at least 3 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and ARRT-R/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in a CT department at a teaching hospital and Level 1 trauma center
  • Day shifts (3x12 hours) from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
  • Call requirement of 2 to 3 shifts per 4 week schedule
  • No floating required
  • Phillips CT equipment is used and prior experience is required
  • Epic EMR experience is required
  • Black scrubs are required as dress code
  • Candidates must minimize any time off requests during Mardi Gras (2/13 - 2/22)
  • Maximum of 5 days of requested time off considered per contract
  • Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility
  • Returning permanent employees must have a 1-year separation from any prior employment at the facility to be eligible
  • References must be current from a supervisor within the last 12 months
  • Candidates must provide a work history and explain any gaps of more than 30 days
  • A copy of a valid driver’s license is required for consideration

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years CT technologist experience required
  • Current BLS and ARRT-R certifications required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Phillips CT scanner experience required
  • Teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
  • License required if applicable
