Job Description

American Traveler seeks a multi-modality CT/XR Technologist with ARRT, BLS, and Indiana state license to work in a dynamic acute care environment serving both adult and pediatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care hospital using Phillips IQon CT scanners, Siemens DR XR rooms, and Carestream portables
• Serve adult and pediatric patients in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings at a Stroke 1 accredited facility
• Shifts include Thursday 7 a.m.–7 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday 6 a.m.–6 p.m., with on-call up to 4–5 times per month
• Holiday shifts are required, and candidates must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• No floating to other units or sister facilities required
• Royal blue scrubs required and parking is free
• Charting is done in Cerner and experience is required
• Main duties include performing CT and general X-ray studies as a multi-modality technologist
• Holiday coverage is required, with minimum expectations for major holidays
• Candidates must be comfortable working independently and with a variety of imaging equipment
• Returning employees must have been separated for at least 12 months before being eligible to reapply as a traveler
• RTO policy allows auto-approval of up to 5 days off
• Team supports both inpatient and outpatient imaging services

Requirements

• ARRT certification, BLS, and current Indiana state radiologic technologist license required (License required if applicable)
• Minimum of 18 months to 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Ability to perform both CT and general X-ray examinations
• Experience with Siemens, Carestream Portable, and Phillips equipment required
• Must be comfortable working independently at times
• Graduate of an accredited university (ACEN or CCNE accreditation required at graduation)
• Cerner charting experience required
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Local candidates accepted
