Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring recent MS and MS/Tele experience and an active TN or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital setting
• Shift is 7pm to 7am, with schedules of 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Requires floating to other units as needed
• No call responsibilities
• General orientation takes place on Sundays with online CBLs
• Expected to support clinical education for nursing students alongside clinical duties
• Standard hospital dress code and professional demeanor required
• Must be prepared to adapt to census-driven schedule adjustments

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license at time of consideration
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg and Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• First time travelers will be considered
