Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 5 years of experience and ARRT CT certification for a hospital-based role serving all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital CT department with 2 rooms and 15 beds
• Care for infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Schedule is weekday 8-hour day shifts (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM) and every fourth weekend 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 6:30 PM)
• Day staffing ratio is 1:4, nights and weekends 1:1
• Perform CT imaging in adult acute care, adult outpatient, pediatric outpatient, and emergency department settings
• Procedures include abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and special procedures such as biopsies, colonography, and myelography
• GE CT equipment and PACS system used
• Role includes advanced image display and post-processing techniques such as MRP and ROI
• Supportive environment with opportunities to work independently and collaboratively

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years CT technology experience required
• Current ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certifications required
• Valid Ohio license required if applicable
• Proficiency with GE CT equipment and PACS
• Experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, pediatric outpatient, and emergency department settings
• Expertise in performing a variety of CT procedures including contrast administration, biopsies, colonography, and myelography
• Skilled in radiation safety, preparation and administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, and venipuncture
