Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for an evening shift assignment, requiring ARRT (R)(CT) certification and at least 2 years of relevant CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital CT department
• Works with CT scans using GE equipment
• Evening shift schedule of 4x10s, Monday to Thursday, 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Patient population includes general radiology and CT patients
• Floating required within scope to all sister facilities as needed
• On-call duties are required
• Uses Epic for charting and documentation
• First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• Perm staff must be separated for at least one year to be eligible
• Maximum of 5 days of requested time off; no holiday or blackout dates allowed
• No local candidates accepted; permanent residence must be outside a 75-mile radius
• No block scheduling requests are accommodated
• Scrub requirements are not specified; please inquire at assignment
• If assigned to ER, must have or be willing to obtain NIHSS and ESI certifications

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' recent CT and radiology experience
• Graduate from an AMA approved radiologic technology program
• ARRT (R)(CT) certification and current BLS required
• Experience with GE CT equipment preferred
• Active license required if applicable
• Must provide valid driver's license or state-issued ID and a utility bill in applicant's name with matching address showing residence outside a 75-mile radius within 3 months of start date
• Must submit 2 professional references
• Copies of certifications required for consideration
