Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical Step Down night shift position requiring an active MO or compact license and recent Med/Surg Intermediate experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Intermediate (Step Down) unit
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• Patient population includes post-surgical and intermediate care cases
• 13-week contract assignment
• Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs
• Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles may be restricted to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts and would receive a reduced pay rate
• Staff living within 50 miles may need to separate for 1 year after 3 contracts or relocate to qualify for additional contracts

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Intermediate or Surgical Step Down experience required
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal documentation is provided
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
