Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Step Down Intermediate night shift position requiring a MO or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Step Down Intermediate unit
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Block scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs
• Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles will receive a reduced bill rate and are limited to 3 consecutive local contracts before a one year separation or relocation is required
• Full compliance files must be completed two weeks prior to start date
• Responsibilities include providing intermediate care to Med/Surg patients

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Step Down or Intermediate Care experience required
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment unless scheduled renewal is documented
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months
