Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med-Surg Acute Care unit on day shifts in Colorado, requiring 2 years of acute care or telemetry experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in an adult Med-Surg Acute Care/Observation unit
• Patient population includes orthopedic surgery, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute and chronic illnesses
• 12-hour day shifts with weekend rotation
• Required to participate in call rotation with 1 call shift every 2 weeks as needed
• The RN is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered nursing care and utilizing the nursing process in daily practice
• Traveler must reside at least 75 miles from the facility's location
• Facility housing available for travelers, subject to availability and restrictions
• No local candidates accepted

Requirements

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care, Med-Surg, or telemetry RN experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Proof of flu vaccination is required with no exemptions
