Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Perinatal Sonographer with at least 2 years of maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) experience and ARDMS OB/GYN certification for an outpatient role.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient clinic specializing in maternal-fetal ultrasound exams
• Daily caseload typically consists of 8-10 exams per shift
• Shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• May float within scope to sister facilities in the area as needed
• Unit orientation is provided on site during regular shift hours
• EMR system used is Epic; experience preferred
• Perform high-risk perinatal ultrasound examinations and document findings
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Block scheduling may be accommodated with prior approval but is not guaranteed
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included at time of application and is subject to facility approval
• Locals are considered on a case-by-case basis at a reduced pay rate
• Scrub colors are navy blue or pink
• Free parking is available on site
• Completion of facility modules is required prior to start
• Returning employees must have a one-year separation from prior employment in the health system

Requirements

• ARDMS (OB/GYN) certification required
• BLS certification required; AHA certifications only
• Minimum 2 years of MFM experience is preferred
• SSN and driver’s license required for consideration
• SC sonography license must be active and in hand prior to start; license required if applicable
• Cannot accept candidates with a pending state license
• Adherence to a 60-mile radius rule for eligibility
