Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with a GA or compact license and at least 18 months of operating room experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based operating room setting
• Day shift (AM), 8-hour shifts
• No on-call requirements
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Not open to local candidates within a 50-mile radius
• Former staff must have a minimum separation of 1 year from the previous health system or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• Time off (RTO) is limited to 5 days unless near a holiday, in which case only 3 days are allowed; only one holiday request may be submitted
• Multiple days of time off that fall around holidays will not be approved

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 18 months operating room RN experience
• CVOR RNs must have at least 18 months of recent, full-time CVOR experience within the last 3 years
• CVOR experience must include proficiency in cardiac and vascular surgical procedures and strong endovascular skills
