Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with an active GA or compact license and at least 18 months of OR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Day shifts with 10-hour scheduled shifts
• No on-call requirements
• Caring for a range of surgical patients in the perioperative environment
• Returning staff must have been separated at least 1 year, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days unless near a holiday, in which case only 3 days are allowed; only one holiday request is permitted
• Multiple consecutive RTO days during holidays are not allowed and requests must be spread out
• Only one active position application is allowed at a time

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of recent operating room experience
• CVOR RNs and techs must have at least 18 months of full-time CVOR experience within the last 3 years, with strong cardiac and vascular procedure skills
• Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
