Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with ARRT certification and at least 1 year of recent CT experience for a 12-hour day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital CT department performing diagnostic imaging procedures
• Responsibilities include CAT scans of the chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, fluoroscopy, and pediatric exams
• Perform CT angiographies with post-processing
• Care for trauma patients and conduct scans efficiently in urgent situations
• Use of EPIC EMR for charting
• Schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week
• Duties include performing and processing CAT scans, minimizing radiation exposure, and maintaining high quality image production
• Participation in departmental meetings, planning, and quality improvement processes is expected
• Assists in orientation and training of new associates and students
• Staff may handle medications or have access to secured drug storage as part of the workflow
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligibility for a travel assignment
• A background check and drug screen must be completed using a designated vendor prior to the start date
• All copies of certifications must be current and provided for consideration; no pending licenses accepted

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification and applicable CT license required (license required if applicable)
• At least 1 year of recent CT Tech experience in a hospital or similar setting
• Associate's Degree in a related field required
• AHA certifications that do not expire prior to assignment start
• Must supply a personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) upon assignment
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Ability to demonstrate effective communication, independent judgment, and problem-solving skills
