Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Stepdown position requiring an OH or compact RN license and 18 months of recent stepdown experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital cardiac stepdown unit
• Rotating day and night shifts, 3x12 hours (7am-7:30pm/7pm-7:30am); preference honored when possible
• Variable shifts may be required to meet hospital needs
• Care for adult cardiac stepdown and progressive care patients
• EMR system used for submitting hours is Qualivis – Lotus
• Must work at least every other holiday
• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location limited to 18 consecutive months, with a 6-month wait period before returning
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Team members must complete required assessments during orientation

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of permanent paid experience in cardiac stepdown or progressive care prior to travel
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
