Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Multi-Modality Radiology Technologist with active ARRT certification in CT, MRI, and Radiography and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Work setting includes providing MRI, CT, and X-Ray imaging across all patient populations including NICU, CCU, and ED
- Required to operate independently and perform procedures for diagnostic and treatment purposes
- Day shift schedule with a 6 days on, 8 days off rotation
- Position may include on-call hours to meet patient or organizational needs
- Physical demands include repeated lifting (up to 50 pounds), standing, walking, and other movements required in a clinical setting
- Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, radiation, chemicals, and potentially infectious diseases occurs regularly
- Primary responsibility is to produce high quality MRI, CT, and X-ray exams for interpretation by a licensed practitioner
- Supports peers through training and collaboration
- Performs documentation, exam distribution, billing, and archival duties
- Supports medical staff in various departments as needed
- Expected to participate in quality improvement initiatives per hospital standards
- Must be able to maintain professional demeanor and strong communication in a busy hospital environment
- Regular and sustained attendance is required, and flexibility with shifts and overtime may be necessary
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology program (CAHEA or equivalent) with documented competencies in Radiology, CT, and MRI
- Active Montana Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
- ARRT certification in CT, MRI, and Radiologic Technology required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2 years radiology experience and at least 2 years experience in CT and/or MRI
- Must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered
