Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position requiring a MA RN license, BLS certification, and prior travel experience.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Float Pool covering Med/Surg and Telemetry units
Hospital setting with a mix of medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., three 12-hour shifts per week
Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Meditech EMR experience required
No on-call responsibilities
Tele test will be administered on the first day of orientation
Flu vaccine for 2024/2025 season required prior to start
Role involves floating between multiple units as assigned
Holiday coverage is required on a rotating basis

Requirements

Active MA RN license required
Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
Three years of prior Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required
Demonstrated experience with telemetry and Meditech EMR required
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel compensation
