Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with a valid CA OT license and hand therapy specialty at an acute care hospital with day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Position based in an acute care hospital setting
• Pediatric patient population
• Day shift schedule, working 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:30
• Floating to other facilities within 75+ mile radius may be required
• Must complete pre-start and annual training modules, typically 8 hours
• May be required to float to other departments, units, or facilities as needed
• Requests for time off must be submitted and approved at the time of offer, and additional requests mid-contract are not accepted
• Travel pairs are allowed but will not work on the same unit

Requirements

• Active CA OT license (license required if applicable)
• Certified Hand Therapist certification or California Advanced Practice license in Hand Therapy and Physical Agent Modalities
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• COVID vaccination and booster required with proof prior to start
• Pediatric experience highly preferred
• Prior travel experience within the last 12 months preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
