Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular ICU RN with at least two years of critical care experience and a DC RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in the Cardiovascular ICU of a hospital setting
• Work schedule includes day or night 12-hour shifts, with options for 3x12 or 4x12 shifts
• Rotating schedule with shifts from 07:00-19:30 and 19:00-07:30
• Unit cares for cardiovascular and critically ill adult patients
• Floating required to ICU and Intermediate Care (IMC)
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Must be able to float to related critical care units as needed
• Candidates living within 60 miles are considered locals
• Holiday shifts are assigned as needed by the unit
• Flexibility for both day and night rotating shifts is needed

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Cardiovascular ICU experience required
• Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Travel experience preferred
