Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery position requiring NRP, STABLE, and C-EFM certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit at a hospital
• High-risk labor and delivery patient population
• Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Call required: 36 hours per 6 weeks or 12 hours per pay-period with a 45-minute onsite response
• Float required within skillset to units such as Mom/Baby and postpartum
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Locals within 60 miles are accepted
• Responsibilities include providing care to high-risk L&D patients and supporting related units as needed
• Must be able to respond onsite within 45 minutes when on call
• Every other weekend and holiday required as part of the schedule
• Team-based environment with support across multiple women's health units

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license
• Current certifications: NRP, STABLE, C-EFM, ACLS, and BLS
• Minimum 2 years high-risk labor and delivery experience
• Circulating, fetal heart monitoring (FHM), and preceptor and/or charge skills required
• AWHONN and triage experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
