Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Care position in Minnesota requiring an active MN RN license and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a long term care environment within an acute care setting
• Provide care to residents in a household model focused on person-centered care
• Shift times vary and may include a variety of hours
• The role involves collaboration with a clinical team and other professionals
• Lead and guide clinical staff in areas such as infection control, wound management, and safety
• Implement and ensure adherence to clinical policies supporting regulatory compliance and safe nursing practices
• Coordinate and maintain effective relationships with physicians, other departments, and service providers
• Contribute to developing a supportive, team-based culture in a resident-directed care environment
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required

Requirements

• Active MN RN license is required
• A minimum of 2 years of RN experience is necessary
• Ability to demonstrate and nurture care practices sensitive to persons with dementia
