Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab RN with at least one year of experience, BLS/ACLS certifications, and a GA or compact RN license for a day-shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Cath Lab serving adult and geriatric populations
• Three procedure rooms with five beds, averaging 8-10 patients daily
• Day shifts are 4x10 hours, 8:00 to 18:00
• Must work every third weekend
• Ten call days per month are required
• Potential to float to the sister campus as needed
• Uses Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR for clinical operations
• Facility provides required scrub attire
• Responsibilities include circulating during Cath Lab procedures, monitoring sedation, and managing patients with dysrhythmias
• Must be prepared to work required major holidays if they fall during the assignment
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• Maximum of seven days of RTO allowed; no time off requested during the first week
• Compliance with orientation and onboarding timelines is mandatory to start as scheduled
• Return travelers must have been away from all Piedmont facilities for at least one year
• Travel pairs cannot be scheduled on the same shift in the same unit
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of one year Cath Lab RN experience
• Proficiency in circulating procedures, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Experience with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems preferred
• Must submit two supervisory references (manager or above) for consideration
