Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry RN with an active LA or compact license, BLS, and ACLS to work 12-hour day shifts with weekend and floating requirements.
Responsibilities
- Hospital-based Telemetry unit assignment
- 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 am to 7:15 pm
- Works every other weekend and holidays
- Floating to other floors as required
- Block scheduling may be accommodated in some instances
- No on-call requirements
- May be assigned to an Emergency Team during critical events, with expectations to stay until the event passes or be part of the relief team
- Holiday coverage is required as assigned
- RTO must be discussed and approved during interview
- Local candidates within 65 miles will not be considered
Requirements
- Active RN license from LA or a compact state required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Must live at least 65 miles from the facility
- Prior telemetry experience preferred
- All licensure and certifications must be active before consideration
