Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry position requiring a TN or compact RN license and two years of recent telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Cardiac Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Adult cardiac patient population
• Night shifts; three 12-hour or four 12-hour shifts per week (18:30-07:00)
• Every other weekend required
• No call required
• Floating to other units may be necessary
• Participation in nursing student support and clinical education is expected alongside regular clinical duties
• General orientation begins on Sunday with online CBLs
• 16 hours of nonbillable orientation required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum two years of recent telemetry experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
