Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, BLS and ARRT CT certification, and proficiency in working with all patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Work in inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and ICU settings
• Patient populations include pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics; experience with neonates and infants is preferred
• Night shift schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4x10s, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Procedures performed include CT scans using PACS and contrast; biopsies and IV starts are preferred
• Candidates may work with NICU and PICU patient populations
• Use of Epic for EMR is required
• A minimum distance of 50 miles from the facility is required for eligibility
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Maintaining timely attendance and adherence to a zero-tolerance policy for unexcused absences is expected
• Team members may be required to float within their scope
• Comfort working with patients across all age groups is necessary
• Dress code or scrubs requirements will be communicated by the facility

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a CT Technologist
• Current BLS and ARRT CT certifications required
• Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients required; neonate and infant experience preferred
• Experience in outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU environments required; NICU and PICU experience preferred
• Proficiency with PACS and administering contrast required
• Ability to perform or assist with biopsies and IV starts is preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
