Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a weekend night shift position requiring ARRT registration or eligibility and advanced CT certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital CT scan department
• Patient population includes adults and pediatrics
• Utilizes Computerized Tomography (CT) scanners and PACS imaging systems
• Work schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Performs both contrast and non-contrast studies following established protocols
• EMR systems used include Epic and IMPAX
• Perform CT procedures, image manipulation, and 3D reconstructions according to protocols
• Administer oral and IV contrast following safety guidelines and protocols
• Ensure accurate patient identification, documentation, and demographic information in EMR
• Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and communication
• Assist with workflow efficiency, quality control, and maintain a clean work environment
• Precept new employees and students as needed
• Compliance with background check, drug screening, and time-sensitive onboarding requirements is mandatory

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science
• Registration with the ARRT or registry eligibility required; must provide diploma if registry eligible
• Advanced certification in CT required
• Current HCP BLS certification required
• Candidates must become registered within one year of employment and maintain registry and CE requirements
