Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist (Dual Modality) for a high-volume setting, offering 12-hour night shifts and requiring at least 1 year of recent CT and X-ray experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital CT and radiology department with 182 licensed beds and a Trauma Level IV designation
Serve a variety of patients with ED, inpatient, and outpatient imaging needs
Department processes an average of 325 patients per day across all modalities
Utilize Siemens and GE equipment with EPIC EMR
12-hour night shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM on a 4-week schedule cycle
Weekend and call requirements vary by modality and will be discussed during interview
Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays
Black scrubs required
Duties include CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures for ED, inpatient, and outpatient populations
Support staff includes nursing and transport teams
Orientation includes online courses and 3-5 days in the department depending on modality
High-volume setting focused on team accountability and patient-centered care
Free parking is available on site
First-time travelers are accepted
Traveler's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
Time off requires manager approval

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a CT and radiologic technologist
Current BLS certification
ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required for dual modality (CT/DX) roles
Photo ID required during compliance process
Experience with Siemens and GE CT scanners preferred
Must provide 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a supervisor or manager
License required if applicable
