Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position in North Carolina requiring a valid NC or compact RN license and at least one year of ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Department
• Hospital setting providing emergency care
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Must be able to manage high acuity cases and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented environment with support from a multidisciplinary staff

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required (RQI certifications not accepted)
• Social Security number and date of birth are required for consideration
• COVID-19 vaccination card is required
• Cannot have been employed as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot live within a 60-mile radius of the assignment location
• Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere
