Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring a GA or compact RN license, 12-hour day shifts, and two years of L&D experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
Patient population includes laboring mothers and newborns
Three 12-hour day shifts per week from 7am to 7pm
13-week contract assignment
No on-call requirements
Utilizes Cerner EMR system
Responsible for providing comprehensive care to laboring mothers and their newborns
Must not reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
Returning staff who were previously permanent must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
Requests for time off must be submitted up front; no additional requests will be accepted after offer
Scrub or dress code details not specified
First-time travelers are eligible for consideration

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience required
Certifications required: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring, and AWOHNN
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
