Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift assignment, requiring Epic proficiency and a NH or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Provide care for laboring mothers and couplets
• Staffing ratios are 1:1 or 1:2 for laboring patients and 1:3 for couplets
• Night shift with four 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirement
• May float to other units within the same division but not to med/surg units
• Utilizes Epic for charting and Pyxis for medication, with SBAR for communication
• Deliver comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Team-oriented environment with experienced nursing and support staff
• No specific scrub color requirement
• Only travelers with at least 2-5 years of L&D experience will be considered if first time travelers
• Background checks and license verification are required

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current certifications in BLS and NRP (AHA or Red Cross only)
• Epic experience required
• References required for consideration; must be able to provide two professional references
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted but at a different rate
• Former employees of SolutionHealth or any associated facility are not eligible
