Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on night shifts, requiring a compact or TN license and prior Med/Surg/telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

Medical-Surgical unit in a hospital setting
Night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 18:30 to 07:00
Must work every other weekend
No on-call requirement
Floating to other units is required
Expected to support and mentor nursing students as part of daily duties
General orientation begins on Sundays and includes online CBLs
Clinical orientation consists of 16 hours of nonbillable orientation time

Requirements

Active RN license in TN or compact state required at time of consideration
American Heart Association BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg and telemetry experience required
First time travelers are accepted
Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
