Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with 3+ years of OB and general ultrasound experience for a day shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in a diagnostic imaging department focused on general, OB/GYN, abdominal, neurosonology, and ophthalmology ultrasound procedures
- Day shift schedule from 8:15am to 6:45pm
- 13-week assignment
- Floating to other departments where qualified may be required
- Perform ultrasonic imaging and procedures across OB/GYN, abdominal, neurosonology, and ophthalmology specialties
- Demonstrate anatomy for physician interpretation and/or intervention
- Maintain professional judgment and adhere to medical ethics
- Provide patient care to ensure successful imaging procedures
- Local candidates are accepted
Requirements
- Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited sonography program or equivalent
- Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent approved certification
- Licensed in the State of Oregon as an Ultrasonographer or Radiologic Technologist/Sonographer (license required if applicable)
- Minimum of 3 years ultrasound experience required
