Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and BLS and NBCOT certification for an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

Work in an acute care hospital on the Occupational Therapy unit
Day shifts, 5x8 hour schedule from 8:00 to 17:00
Assignment length is 13 weeks
Epic charting system is used; Epic experience is preferred
Travel pairs or groups are not accepted
Applicants must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; locals not accepted
Former permanent staff must be gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto approved and no RTO is permitted in the first week of orientation
First-time travelers are eligible for this position

Requirements

Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required; 1-2 years preferred
BLS and NBCOT certifications required
Epic charting experience preferred

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
