Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and BLS and NBCOT certification for an acute care hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care hospital on the Occupational Therapy unit
- Day shifts, 5x8 hour schedule from 8:00 to 17:00
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Epic charting system is used; Epic experience is preferred
- Travel pairs or groups are not accepted
- Applicants must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; locals not accepted
- Former permanent staff must be gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto approved and no RTO is permitted in the first week of orientation
- First-time travelers are eligible for this position
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required; 1-2 years preferred
- BLS and NBCOT certifications required
- Epic charting experience preferred

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in.
